Training Log - May 15, 2007

Kinda sounds like something Capt. Kirk would say doesn't it?

Good day today! I was able to walk at Creekside park today. I got my 3.05 miles done in 52:16. Pretty good pace. I am still working on my walking technique and not really interested in setting a blazing pace. The weather was very nice. It was about 75 degrees with moderate humidity. There was a great breeze that kept me cool. I decided to wear my Headsweats covering today and was glad I did. Having a shaved head means that I have to watch out for a sunburn! No one wants to see me with my head peeling - Yuck!

I was able to create a flier today that I was able to put up on the bulletin board at work. Put a picture of me in my TNT shirt on it as well as some facts about LLS and how folks can contribute. I thought it looked pretty good. I also worked on my fundraiser letter this evening. All I need to do to finish it is to add some info on our Hero.

I will be sending out an e-mail to close family and friends explaining what I am doing and asking them to contribute.
