This post will bring us up to date on the activities of the past few days. It has been a little hectic around the house. School has ended for the kids which will bring a little relief! I did a lot of work in getting my fundraising letters out. The deadline for TNT to pay for postage on the first 50 letters was yesterday. I got all of my letters stuffed and labeled and to the office on time.
Thursday, I got my 3.05 mile walk in at Creekside. Once again I decided to try to ease back a little on the pace and do it at an easier pace. The weather was great - 80 degrees and 45% humidity with a great breeze from the south. Did the walk in 58:28 with a pace of 19:10 minutes/mile.
This morning I was able to get my weekend 3 mile walk in. I did the 2007 Muirfield 5K. Beautiful weather for the race. Temps were in the mid 60's to start and the sun was shinning! By my watch, my time was 50:40 but I'll wait and see what the timing chip says.
